Home Sweet Home . . .

We made our road trip home to Michigan for the holidays and it was sweet . . . we arrived back in Texas last night, safe and sound. Home, sweet, home. Two places, both home, in different ways. Oh how wonderful it was to spend time with our families! As always the time went by too fast . . . yet it was good to sleep in our own beds last night!

The "Littles" winter wish came true, as we began to see white powdery stuff the further we got north. Teddi had never seen snow . . . oh how exciting it was when we made a pit stop in Illinois and there was snow on the ground! It was dirty "parking lot variety", but snow nonetheless, and both Teddi and Brogan were delighted!

I have many holiday pictures (and moments) to share, but am trying my best to regain control of the post-travel chaos, and to add to the excitement my little bird turns five tomorrow!! Much to do, so for now I will share a few more pictures of my snowbirds. What a precious blessing it was to have my whole flock go north for the holidays!
