Please Pray for Joshua!

On Monday morning in Hangzhou, China, Joshua John AnXiang laid down the label orphan, and took on the title son-- the look on his proud daddy's face speaks a thousand words. We rejoiced with Sonia and John and their family yesterday, and now we are once again asking the Lord to "rescue" Joshua!

In his mama Sonia's words (written Tuesday morning), "Things are not going well. Joshua is very sick." Joshua's adoption which was already being expedited is now being accelerated to a greater degree. His consulate date has been bumped up to Friday and John, Jordan and Joshua will fly out on Saturday. Those of you in the adoption community know that a Chinese adoption completed in five business days is nothing short of a miracle. Please keep Joshua in your prayers as the Lord continues to move mountains to bring him home.

Lord Jesus, hear our prayers on behalf of Joshua! Rescue him, Lord, swiftly. Thank you that You are moving mountains on his behalf, thank you that You will make the way. Thank you that the body of Christ is rising up for Joshua. Please Lord give Joshua peace during this time of upheaval, give him breath Lord, and keep his heart beating. Give Sonia and John wisdom and favor, Lord. We ask that you would put every single person in just the place they need to be in over these next few days--government officials, flight attendants, doctors, nurses, translators, everyday people Lord, who will be Your hands and Your feet, to Joshua, and John and Jordan as they make their way home. Father, hold Sonia as she waits, give her peace in this storm Lord, and meet her practical needs as she takes care of the boys at home. Be with each of the boys and give them a sense of calm in their spirits Lord--even Jacob and Joey who may not be able to grasp what is going on. Oh Father, surround this family, and get Joshua HOME, we ask it in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

You can keep up with Joshua's story here.

Thank you for praying.

Blessings from my nest~
