Proud Mama Post

Our Survival Guy took his first promotion test this past spring. (They test in a rotation and results take quite some time to come out). Bryce's test happened to be scheduled for May 17th, smack dab on his 24th birthday. Not the best way to spend a birthday . . . but the delayed gift couldn't be any better!

On Thursday morning I was awakened by the sweetest of phone calls. My firstborn's deep voice was on the other end--

"Good morning"! (It was only 6:00 a.m. his time.)

"Is it a really good morning"? I asked

"It is a really good morning" he added.

And then triumphantly he announced, "I made it"!

Our Senior Airman is officially a Staff Sergeant (select) on his very first try. We are so proud of you Bryce. Thank you for your commitment to doing everything you do to the very best of your ability, and then some.

We love you!

May the Lord lead you as you continue to climb upward!

Blessings from my proud mama (and daddy) nest~
