On Memorial Day

Remembering those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, and thinking of their families, whose loss I cannot fathom. Thinking of those who wear the scars of war, inside and out, and of all of the families affected by those scars. Thinking of the many who currently serve in harm's way, and of their families who desperately pray for a safe return. Remembering. With a grateful heart.
