in China, we were handed the sweetest little bird. She was timid and quiet, and I'm sure very scared, but she was smiling . . . and has barely stopped since! She is brave, and strong, and amazing.
She is our Theadora Fu Xiao, our precious Teddi girl! Every day since May 19th has been a new adventure . . . a rewarding, heart filling, overwhelming, exhausting, joy-filled, NOISY, adventure! Needless to say the quiet and timid Xiao Xiao didn't stick around for long, and was quickly replaced by the giggling, wiggling, squealing, stomping, shoe loving girl we've fallen in love with! Each day we learn a little more about her and she learns a little more about us, and about life in a family. . . it's definitely an adventure!

Today we celebrate one month . . .
and in the words and well wishes of one of her
favorite Zhuhai "aunties", Teddi Xiao Xiao is
"flying as free as the happy bird"!
