I received word from Kim a bit ago that our prayers have been answered!! The boy we were praying for, Eddie, will meet his forever daddy tomorrow in China! Thank you Lord!

I was just contacted by my blogger friend Kim, with an urgent prayer request . . .
A young man will turn 14 very shortly, in China. If you are familiar with Chinese adoption, you will understand the urgency of this request. If you are not familiar with Chinese adoption -- age fourteen is the "cut-off" for China. If you turn fourteen as an orphan, you will stay an orphan forever. (Thank goodness God doesn't have a cut-off, and adopts us at any age that we come to Him!)
The good news is that this boy has a family desperately working to make him their son. The tough news is, the paperwork is still incomplete . . . however, everyone involved is cooperating to expedite his paperwork.
Friends, it is Wednesday night in China. Will you please pray with me that the Lord will move every mountain necessary for this boy to be united with his family before his birthday, which is quickly approaching?
"Lord we know that Your desire is for this young man to have a family. We know that You are the One who puts the orphans in families. We come together asking You to please be over every. single. piece. of paperwork that needs to be completed, in order for this young man to lose the label "orphan", and gain the title of "son", forever! We know that You are able, and we look forward with great expectation, as we watch You move the mountain Lord, to bring him home! In Jesus name, Amen!"

Beautiful post, I am praying for him. Very glad to get to keep in touch with you all this way, Tina. We shared an amazing time. Teddi looks fantastic and you all are such a precious family!!
Catching up after being "off-line" for several weeks. I am delighted that prayers are answered and Eddie now has a forever family. God is amazing!
